Material Future

For many centuries, we have had to accept to work with conventional materials such as brick and concrete. However, with the advance of technology, we now have more intelligent and futuristic composites to choose from. Instead of working around with the materials limitations, one could begin to engineer the properties of the material to meet specific requirements.

In this column, I would like to share projects working with these new composites, as well as unique application that be achieved through the use of other materials.
